Didn’t Underworld also revolutionise a bunch of video game tech too? I read that it was the first action game to have full body motion capture which I think is REALLY apparent in this trailer too (hence the deadlines and bugs due to this, and the engine development).

My issue with this game is that it needed another year of development. It was too short. I literally finished this game within two days. The animations and the camera could’ve been worked on a little better. The combat and acton sequences were so boring and repetitive. I know it’s a tomb raider game and the whole point is to explore tombs, but it was just very dry to me.

Underworld should have been longer the gameplay was so peak and the fact that the devs wanted to make Lara be able to do anything you think she could do is amazing

My first tomb raider game as a kid and will always have a place in my heart but I remember beating it and being disappointed. The final fight was lackluster and wanting more

Super underrated, her second best look imo, this actually felt like classic tomb raider and they have said they did try to get it close. As they actually did listen to the fans back then. Unfortunately they forgot to listen to us in the 2010’s. And look what happened.
