He was born in Karbala, Iraq, in 1959 and became known for his deep knowledge of Islamic teachings, eloquent sermons, humility, and strong devotion to Ahl al-Bayt (the Household of the Prophet Muhammad). He devoted his life to studying and teaching Islamic sciences, particularly the Qur’an, theology, ethics, and the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and Ahl al-Bayt. His lectures focused on spirituality, repentance, humility, moral conduct, and strengthening one’s relationship with Allah. He encouraged people to purify their souls and remain committed to the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt. He was widely respected for his simple way of life, humility, and generosity. His lectures and teachings continue to be circulated among those interested in Islamic spirituality and the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt. Sayyid Muhammad Ridha al-Shirazi passed away in Iran in 2008, leaving a lasting spiritual and intellectual influence on his followers and admirers.
