@cbsnews: The son of Israel's ambassador to the U.S. was seriously injured in a car-ramming attack in the West Bank on Tuesday, according to his father, Ambassador Yechiel Leiter, and statements from the Israeli military and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Earlier in the day, the IDF reported a car-ramming attack at a checkpoint in the central West Bank. The IDF said one soldier was "severely injured" but did not share more on his condition. It was later revealed that Leiter's son, Neria Leiter, is being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and that Netanyahu visited him ahead of his trip to the United Nations.
