Same thing happened to me. Although my 3yr old did not speak English. He stayed all day. We later found out when the bus stopped at the mom's house that morning, mom just put all her kids on the bus, didnt matter their ages or if they were enrolled!

This happened twice to me in 30 years. Once the Mama just sent the baby, the second time the before school day care brought the baby because he said he was supposed to go to school with his brother. 😬

First day 2 years ago, I had a kid in my classroom that said their name was “Josh” (fake name) and I had two kids with that name on my roster. When the third “Josh” showed up, I had to do some detective work. One of them was actually a kindergartner and their older brother’s name was “Josh”.
