okay I worked at a mexican restaurant where the main thing was margaritas and a skinny margarita is silver tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice and simple syrup. The reason it’s called a skinny margarita is because you use lime juice and simple syrup instead of sour mix that has a lot of calories and additives.
