"the husband's home" that tells you everything you need to know. why is she considered an accessory to the husband? This is the kind of token stuff that is good in theory, but in a practical sense the woman is left with nothing but a sense of being some positive, while still being attached to a man who holds the real power.

Then why are women treated with less respect? I went to teach art at a Jewish school, and was told because I am a woman, the older kids wouldn’t show me respect compared to the younger kids.

(apologies if I absolutely butchered the spelling, dyslexic) bacuse surley you would want those who are most in tune with good to be leading/advising others and interpreting the will of God?

We leave the family home to the daughter reason she will always have children/family she may loose her husband by death, divorce or runs away, but she will always have family as she’s the queen. A man can always find a wife he only has to provide for family life. So the son’s inheritance is not the home maybe money maybe business.
