@kelseyalfred: Replying to @Waffle_cone I’m gonna say this with my whole chest because I really want my page to be a SAFE space. 👀 There’s a difference between sharing your experience with a medication and filling someone’s head with horror stories that serve no purpose other than making them afraid to try a treatment that could potentially help them. Your experience is your experience. But if every conversation about RA treatment turns into a list of the worst things that happened to someone, what is that actually doing for the person who came here looking for hope, information, or reassurance? RA medications affect everyone differently. Something that was a horrible experience for one person could be completely different for someone else. So I’m going to keep my page a space where we can have REAL conversations about treatment — the good, the bad, the side effects, the questions, ALL of it — without intentionally creating fear around medications that someone else may benefit from.
