My current courier is an ex Legion recruit at a young age turned Frumentarii, who fled the Legion after the First Battle of Hoover Dam, forgot his old rank after his run in with Benny, gets his memories slowly restarted by mercing Vulpes, rediscovers his past fully through Ulysses, discovers he was once one of the 87 tribes, and offs Caesar as a vengeance for his mother and sisters. Almost does Yes Man, before realizing power would just make him into another tyrant like Caesar, and relinquishes control to the NCR, with the hope that messy democracy could cure the wastes of this warlord cycle. Roleplaying in a Roleplaying game truly is peak

making lore for your protags is GAME CHANGING!! i have a specific point in dragon age veilguard where i give my rook a makeover for her own lore 😭 which also gives me a challenge whenever i play as her to do what i need to to make sure the outfit is unlocked 🙂↕️(also definitely recommend people make playlists for their characters/save files, very fun to build your own soundtrack and vibe)

My first playthrough is usually “me” then my second playthrough is a tailored made character that’s going to go through hell. I like adding scarring/changing their hair through the play through as well

when i played cyberpunk my V slowly looked more and more like Johnny like they were being destroyed, and wheb I played BG3 dark urges I made my guys look start out well kept and fall apart by the end, just makes it more fun to end with a character falling apart

i have never played as a dragonborn in skyrim but i sure as hell have played as two corelanyans, a ton of different types of dunmer, an altmer who blows up people he doesnt like, a hulkynd, and finally. the fish.

Yesss! I started Mass Effect with a custom MShep where he started out full renegade “what ever it takes to get the job done”, and ended the series with him being majorly paragon, trying to do whats right, even if it doesn’t get the job done
