Happened to a friend of mine back in the 2000s. Digging a tunnel and it collapsed on him. They managed to actually dig him out for a moment but it caved back in and they were unable to get him back out. R.I.P. Steven. We haven’t forgotten you.

SPOILER!!! They found both kids in different sides of the hole because they were digging different ways. george had a pulse when found, and DJ was dead when found. they did a brain death test for George and it came out 100% brain dead. there is a ban on digging holes in sand any deeper than 16 meters but it hadn't reached where they live yet.

Ngl did they not think their kid was actually in there??? I’d be on my hands and knees scrapping at the sand if I knew any kid was in there, regardless if it’s mine or not. Wouldn’t be waiting for an officer and then handing him the shovel to get to work 💀
