If someone ruins it that’s tough. But there are good names that you won’t encounter. Having so much time in a school setting I also had a no list. My list changed and then I would periodically revisit the name websites and books just to refresh my options. Then my husband tricked me with an unknown comic book character. Once you give your child a name, the others you meet after can’t taint the name. They just get a descriptive nickname (the bad seed not your seed)

I'm a teacher and my husband works in a school when we had our daughter this was the hardest thing ever because of this exact reason lol

Think of a name that works at all ages and stages. Some names just get ruined. I mean also some names i cant take seriously…..mckinley … come on
