as a gen z, i’m tired of the goal post moving. i starting saving for my first house when i was 17 and saved $65k. i made double what my mom made when she bought her house, and i cannot afford a house in this state bc the houses start at i kid u not $800k. it just gets to a point where it’s like dude the goal post is constantly moving. i’ll do my job but im not going above and beyond. i’m not putting in 12 hours of work per day plus weekends for a job that barely pays me to live and can lay me off for any reason at any time. it’s just not worth it.

I agree but we do have to acknowledge that the system is rigged against Gen Z 😭 you are now fighting against ai for jobs and it's almost impossible to get a house, you can put out 100 applications and not get an interview ... yes there needs to be more accountability but we can't sit here and act like it's not also incredibly unfair
