I was also so anxious being pregnant with my rainbow baby the whole pregnancy and now she’s been here for 4 months and I’m still anxious something is going to happen to her. I have to say it out loud to my husband and friends to help me rationalize. To anyone reading this you are not alone in your anxiety!!

Hi! Our stories sound very familar!! They stopped me on metformin at 11 weeks and i did my test at 13 weeks and my results were great so i continued off metformin. I did my second glucose test and no gestational diabetes! I was so stressed about stopping it but my body didn’t need it (and im insulin resistant and have been on it for over 2 years). With all of that being said i had an early loss like 5 weeks my first transfer and this pregnancy i was so anxious and felt the same way. Once i felt baby move and got past my anatomy scan i was actually able to enjoy pregnancy. It’ll get better and im so excited for you!! If you ever have any questions feel free to reach out 💗

Can I ask you if you changed your diet or what food in general kind of looked like for you around the time of success? My story is so identical to yours when I hear you talk it could be about myself, and this is one area I struggle because I am a picky eater with hardly any appetite and I feel like it may be holding me back but love to hear from people in similar situations that had success what their day to day looked like!

I’m 6 weeks with an IVF baby and have all of the same thoughts and anxiety! I also have insulin resistance and my clinic already had me stop Metformin. Making any change is so scary I’m actually dreading stopping PIO bc I know my anxiety will be through the roof. So happy for you I’ve loved following your journey!

Have you thought about getting an at home Doppler? I’ve been doing that since 9 weeks and it’s really calmed me down and let me space out my scans more!

I stopped metformin at 12 weeks and opted to do a continuous glucose monitor for 2, 2 week periods during my pregnancy instead of the glucose test! I used the brand Stelo and was able to email the results to my doctor and she said they were perfect. It also helped me learn to be mindful of how I was eating and making sure I got my protein in first to help minimize spikes. I learned sooo much using them! I also have PCOS, conceived with an IUI/let/trigger/aspirin after 2 years and a loss

I just had my baby after struggling for two years with infertility (we had to do an iui). I had the same surprise as you and worries. I felt worlds better AFTER I did the anatomy scan and I could feel kicks. That is when I enjoyed pregnancy and the fact that I was having an actual baby. Hang in there and congratulations!

Get a baby Doppler :) you should be able to hear the baby through it that helped me ALOT until you start feeling movements and That helps a lot!!!!!!! Like I had 2 1/2 years of infertility, and I was a ball of anxiety that I would loose my son but he is healthy and 8 months now! I am pregnant again naturally lmao the first time I did a medicated cycle with my fertility clinic

As someone who had 3 losses before a successful pregnancy, the anxiety over another loss never really went away for me. 😅 but now I have an 8 month old beautiful baby. So I’ll be here sending you guys all of the good vibes and wishing for as little anxiety around that as possible. 💕

Fellow PCOS girlie - did glucose test twice just to make sure everything is good, did not get GD. Also, I was sooo OCD about checking my blood sugar, I even brought it to my glucose testing and would check while waiting - DO NOT recommend that. It read outside of the range and so I was sure I had GD only to get my blood results and clearly did not have it.
