I was in school when I left home to complete my final year project. I can still remember him sitting there and saying goodbye to me as I left the house on Monday. Three days later, on Thursday, I was asleep when my friend woke me up with the saddest news of my life. If I had known what was going to happen, I would never have left home that Monday. I miss him so much, and I still find it hard to believe he’s gone. But I know he’s in a better place now, Insha Allah. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, have mercy on him, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen
