Girl please!! Please don’t ignore this, as a IPC survivor please tell your midwife’s it is life threatening for you and baby. I almost lost 2 babies with it. there is medication to help but please get checked

Definitely get checked for cholestasis. I had it with my second pregnancy. I wanted to scratch my hands and feet off. The only reason I got checked was because Mum had seen a thing on current affair about it.

Yes this happened to me when I was pregnant with my daughter last year! My results were negative too 😳

I had cholestasis. I reported it so many times to the doctors kept going back to the hospital. They did. My liver enzymes came back negative and then one day it was so bad I went back. They did it. It took two days to get my results back and I was induced to give birth because I had really high liver enzymes. Please advocate for yourself and the baby.
