You can get POD during hormonal changes. Try getting some skincare products containing beta glucan to strengthen the skin’s immune cell - dermal therapist x :)

Dermatitis- I had it around my eyes, tried everything, then I tried Canesten (anti fungal) day and night and completely went in 4 days 🤗

Cicaplast balm by La Roche Posay lather it on and use a very gentle cleanser and no actives on the skin.

I have tried every cure for perioral and I found the best best best cure is sulfur ointment and also calendula cream! Both clear mine so well and are so easy and natural on the skin!

hii!! i have no idea if you’re going to see this, but i had perioral dermatitis really bad a few years ago and was super insecure bc of it. like you said you don’t do anything that could cause this, same as my situation. i ended up going to my gp and they gave me a cream to put on it, didn’t really work and then i ended up going on antibiotics for it for about 3 months and it completely healed it, and i’ve never experience it since! please reach out if you need❤️

Perioral dermatitis- i had it years ago- cut back to basic skincare (cleanse and moisturise only until recovered). Check your toothpaste does not have sodium laurel sulfate in it, as it can contribute to this. Goodluck!

I’ve had this multiple times but I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant and still dealing with it. One thing I highly recommend is using diaper rash cream on it at night! Apply like a mask and sleep with it on

This looks like what my perioral dermatitis looked like. I had to do a round of oral doxycycline and topical clindamycin 1% ointment.

Avene Cicaflate was the only thing that fixed it for me, and for a friend of mine! It’s a repair balm, and not expensive! I got on top of mine early knowing what to do when it started around 12 weeks, but my friends was similar to yours! It healed us 🫶🏻

I had it, looks like perioral dermatitis. What worked for me was washing my face with nizorol shampoo leaving it on the skin for 3 mins followed with a cream. Stay away from steroid creams only make it worse. I did a course of antibiotics too but you’re pregnant so that’s out. Try the above first nd see how you go.

That looks like Hormonal Acne, so you would need to treat that from the inside out so a dermatologist would have to prescribe an anti-androgen: Spironolactone: An oral anti-androgen medication frequently prescribed by dermatologists.
