No one started praying to saints until around the 300s so.. I don’t think that would count as tradition. There’s one Bridge to God and that’s the Lord Jesus Christ.

Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another that you maybe healed,is not applicable to departed saints.😁

The thing is, no matter how often others read the Scriptures, they remain blind to the truth simply because it challenges their beliefs or because they are unwilling to accept it. Proud Catholic here!

Those verses reinforced my faith in Jesus because after becoming born-again I understand what those verses actually mean.

Why do other non-Catholic Christians miss this as basis for the establishment of the Catholic Church?

John 20:21–23 Biblical Explanation Jesus commissions His disciples to preach the gospel and testify to His resurrection. They are sent as His representatives, but they do not become equal to Him. Compare Matthew 28:19–20, where Jesus commands His disciples to make disciples and teach people to obey His commands.Acts 10:43: Everyone who believes in Christ receives forgiveness of sins through His name. Acts 13:38–39: Paul proclaims forgiveness through Jesus. Mark 2:7: God alone is the ultimate source of authority to forgive sins.😉

No,that's not how your early fathers understand it.😁 Augustine clarifies that Christ is the foundation upon which the church is built, and even Peter's faith is based on this foundatioln. Basil of Seleucia believed that the "rock" in the verse "on this rock I will build my church" referred to Peter's confession of faith, not Peter himself.😁 Tertullian and his prescription against heretics Emphasized that apostolic succession was about adhering to true teachings in the bible rather than holding a specific office He does not acknowledge a single office residing in the bishop of Rome. In fact ,no pope ever name Peter the second. 😂

with all these, they say catholics don't know the bible. the book put together, thru the inspiration of the holy spirit, by catholics. they say they know and understand it better than catholics. catholic church understanding and belief of the bible remain same over centuries but those claiming to be better Christians than catholics keep shifting the post. typical example is on tithe, a thorny issue amongst pentecostal and charismatic churches, to pay or not to pay or is it to give or not to give ? some pastors were for it but now are against it. confusion but catholic church is solid on its teachings.
