@build_in_public: Easiest keyword optimization in the universe. This really is one of the easiest things you can do. It takes two to five minutes. Go to Google Search Console. Go down to the Pages tab. Order by most impressions. You're gonna have to do this again later on. Click one of your pages that has the most impressions. Click the Queries tab. Next, toggle on average position. Filter by average position is over three. If you do under three, you might be using the queries on your page already. If you do over three, there's a good chance you haven't used these queries. Sort by most impressions. If anything's relevant, just add it to your page. The thing is Google already finds you relevant for these keywords. A lot of the times all you have to do is add them to your page. I saw this on a David G Quaid podcast once, works great.

That makes zero sense - you said it yourself - Google is recognizing the page for those phrases already

When he says add them to your page, is he saying to insertion the keyword to your page content?

the problem is "where" Google thinks you should be in SERP for those queries. Because most of the times those impressions are so pumped only because you are placed in AI Overview and no one is clicking your link and probably no one will click it after because AIO is stealing all the traffic anyway.
I think it's a great suggestion and I do it too every month, butI would also filter by "clicks" with queries with at least a click or two to avoid unnecessary work and focus on queries where users show an intent to spend time on a website.
