the good thing abt active recall is that you can do it anywhere, I will be walking in the street summarizing the class I studied yesterday. Ever since I started doing this my memory has been on a crazy rise

I usually learn something from book, YouTube,or any other source, and then arguing or discussing with AI about it (like the logic behind it, how a variable may change it, and any other thing) until i can finally understand it.

Bad video, it doesn't consider to fact that different methods work for different stuff, and that, for example, music boosts dopamine which boosts concentration etc. You're not gonna be explaining to yourself that 5x5=25 to remember it.

study with ai has to be a rank, it dosent make you guilty for asking, and you can make hard concepts much easier to grasp

the feynman technique and mind mapping are examples of active recall so this makes no sense

Music is good for starting study sessions, hardest part is starting. After that, probably does reduce focus a bit. Obsidian is great for concept maps, you can link all your notes together.

i use ai to quiz me constantly on topics i need improving on depending on the data it gathered on me throughout the chat. in 3-4 hours i can get down like 150 quizzes each with 7 questions. also it doesn’t just give you the same questions right after you botch a quiz. it brings the questions back after a couple dozen of quizzes with different wording and answers. the ai does this continuously until it’s realized you’ve mastered the flaws noted at the beginning and throughout your quizzing.
