If A and B make a bet for $10 and A wins it’s A(+10) B(-$10). Double or nothing means they make another $10 bet. So if A wins again he gets double the money A(+$20) B(-$20) or B gets his money back A($0) B($0) meaning he pays nothing

Double or nothing has 3 different meanings depending on how/where you grew up... 1. new bet for double original amount which is really triple at the end of the day... 2. redo original bet to where loser now owes double or breaks even... 3. original bet is pooled back into a bet where each person puts in same amount to pool so winner gets double original winnings and loser gets nothing.

you guys do realize double or nothing is meant to be a gamble right. if you win the first round then agree to the double or nothing your gambling your 50$ in hopes to get 100$ and the same goes for the person who just lost the first round. if he wins this round then you lost the gamble and need to pay up the 100$ you get nothing and he gets double😭this is how it’s always been

If we played a game of basketball and I lost $100 I want to be up on you. If I bet you $200 then that means if I win you owe me $200 and you walk away with nothing. I walk away with $200. I get $100 plus the money $100 I lost.
