Brin :
My husband made jokes that he wouldn’t look at me until my 6 weeks postpartum were up (I WAS MAKING THE JOKES FIRST IT WAS MUTUAL) and when I had our daughter he was the one who would pull up my underwear, help me get in and out of bed, up and down from the toilet, washed my hair in the shower, he advocated for me the entire labor, brought me my medicine so I wouldn’t forget to take it, brought me snacks and drinks when breastfeeding, learned how to put my hair into a messy bun for when I didn’t have the hands. He followed our daughter when she was rushed to the nursery after she stopped breathing, he asked the nurses a list of PRE WRITTEN questions, had a nurse show him how to change and bathe her, how to swaddle her, he learned quickly how to use the nose bulb incase she choked again. Every morning before work he changes the baby before he leaves, lets the dogs out, and feeds all the animals so I can sleep in with the baby. Every night he does the dishes and cleans up dinner so I don’t have to worry about it. He is every single thing I could have asked for
