Custody in the case of a child in most cases whether married or not is primary given in favor of mother. And in a situation of where the man request for custody it is not denied based on marital status . It is based on security of the child .

In fact the court has nothing to decide if the child’s security is granted. No woman can also oppose a man from requesting for custody when in fact there is nothing at stake on the child. The court admits that parenting is a too person affairs.
