Down Memory Lane🔵❤️ A letter from Najjera ✍🏾 Thursday, 1st October, 2026 As a child growing up in the 1980s at my rural Township of Ibanda, western Uganda, there was nothing quite like the sweet and juicy taste of loquats ''Enshari'' in my local dialect. I remember spending long afternoons playing with my siblings and neighborhood friends, and always taking breaks to run to the neighbor's house and snack on their loquats. Our neighbor's yard was filled with the most beautiful loquat trees. They were tall and sturdy, with vibrant green leaves that shimmered in the sunlight. As we approached, the sweet aroma of the fruit would waft over us, inviting us in for a taste. I remember the excitement of climbing the trees, carefully plucking the ripest fruits, and savoring the juicy flesh as it exploded in my mouth. It was a treat that we looked forward to every summer, and a memory that I will always cherish. As I look back on those days now, I can't help but feel nostalgic for the simpler times of my childhood. It was a time before smartphones and social media, when kids spent hours playing outside and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. But even though time has passed and life has changed, the taste of loquats still brings me back to those carefree days of my youth. It reminds me of the joy and innocence of childhood, and the simple pleasures that bring us together. Today, whenever I come across a loquat, I can't help but smile and think of those cherished memories from my upbringing. And even though those days are gone, the taste of loquats will always be a sweet reminder of the good old days. Happy new month folks How do you call them in your language? #jaqs_chronicles🔵❤️ #foryoupage #viral #trending #fyp
