@pickytravellers: ❤️ pizza? good. drinks? good. vibes? goood (Did anyone get the Friends’ Joey reference? Heh heh heh) No but fr, 📍Pizzeria Portofino did not disappoint!! We reserved the patio dining and it was so romantic and perfect for our first night out. The food was SO yummy and not overrated, the staff was super kind, and the tiramisu was the best tiramisu I have ever had. We ordered everything because we were so hungry, and every single thing was delicious. Fun & SAD fact- we only had a slice each and were super excited to have the pizza for leftovers.. but the our Hotel (The Viceroy) threw out our pizza 😒😒😒… and the night staff was hella rude and annoying about it. Don’t want to bore you with the details (or maybe I do), but yah idk- the more I think about it, the more it makes me upset. So sad because look how good that pizza looks- was literally so sad it went missing from our room. It’s a beautiful hotel (like our room was UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous), but still - something felt so off. Don’t think I’d ever go again (maybe just for the rooftop bar / breakfast lol) Anyway- I digress! Super recommend making reservations for this place when in Chicago.
