I have always had heavy periods im on stuff im I have adenomyosis fibroids endometriosis and I always have to get ultrasound to check the thickness of my uterus wall and im also premenpause

Yesterday's Problem :
no one listens though, women get dismissed all the time, then comes the 2+ year waitlist to see gynaecology, getting called a drug seeker at a n e the list goes on. Women's healthcare is a joke in Aotearoa

me who goes through a pad every 1.5hrs. like soaked through. for 5 days every cycle 😭. they told me it's normal

I got told to be grateful my periods were light and the my pain was dismissed. I eventually got a hysterectomy for severe adenomoysis that progressively took over my life

As someone who’s been diagnosed with Endo at 28 we need more awareness and being believed about our periods and what is normal and what isn’t normal! So thank you for speaking about this!

Brought it up with my doc years ago and was told I “would be fainting” if I had endo then just chucked on birth control. Had an MRI this year that showed adenomyosis
