The full moon isn’t just at night when it’s dark, y’all. 🌕😂 Let’s clear this up because I’m seeing so many people acting like the full moon only counts if you can look up and see it in the night sky. The full moon reaches its exact peak at a specific time. That is the astronomical moment when the Sun and Moon are directly opposite one another in the sky. But that exact peak is a MOMENT in time. It does not mean the full moon suddenly begins at that minute and ends when the clock moves past it. There is a build-up to the full moon, and there is energy following the peak as well. The Moon is moving through a process, not punching a time clock. 🌕✨ And remember, the Sun and the Moon are two different luminaries. ☀️🌕 Just because the Sun is up does not mean the Moon somehow stops being the full moon. The Moon can be full during daylight hours. You may not be able to see it clearly because of the light of the Sun, but that doesn’t change where the Moon is in its cycle. So if the full moon peaks during the day, you did NOT miss the full moon because it wasn’t nighttime. You don’t have to wait until it gets dark to acknowledge it, work with it, journal, set intentions, release something, charge something, or simply sit with the energy of the moment. And this is why I always say: pay attention to the peak time, but don’t become so obsessed with one exact minute that you miss the larger cycle. I personally work with the energy before the peak and after the peak because I understand the full moon as a window, not a 60-second appointment. 😂 The exact peak matters. The surrounding energetic window matters too. So no, you do not have to be outside at 7:14 PM, holding your crystals up to the sky, because somebody on the internet told you that if you miss that exact minute, you missed the full moon. 😭 Breathe.
