He ascended to Celestia and made a deal with the heavily principles that he would sacrifice himself for the revival of her in the protection of their descendants, then those same descendants try to open the gate to the abyss again, forcing the heavily principle to intervene. and with her not having further knowledge about the third defender and his sacrifice tries to kill the heavily principles, she’s so slow.

"Death is not the enemy of love" hits different once you know why. The real enemy was manipulation. Memory alone would've let her keep loving the Third Descender after death. So they erased it. Centuries later she grieves her own descendants wiped out at Khaenri'ah, unable to even remember loving them into existence. Dainsleif calls her 'a god with no love left,' but she didn't lose it, the HP' manipulation did. So the 'Love' title they gave her as Archon was fake. No wonder she wants it all gone.
