Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy longstanding brotherly relations rooted in shared faith, historical ties and mutual respect. He highlighted the important role of parliamentary relations in promoting cooperation and understanding between the two countries, noting that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have stood by each other in times of need. He also highlighted the deep religious reverence for Saudi Arabia among Muslims across the world and the respect and affection for the Kingdom among the people and Parliament of Pakistan. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the importance of parliamentary relations in further strengthening Pakistan-Saudi ties and said that the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye in Makkah, is an important development in strengthening cooperation among the three countries.
