my dad hsd alzheimer, he got lost and he was already on the next town just walking he was around 77- 78 about 6 hours away walking from home

i was driving a friend home that had too much to drink. 2am we were flying down this 2 lane blacktop, no shoulder. 10 miles outside of town i saw a instant flash on the edge of the road i steered to the middle of the road and passed an old lady in a wheelchair... the guy i was driving said he saw nothing. i dropped him off and went back. i could not find her. the next night on the news. an felble elderly woman escaped the carefacility and was found... (close to where i saw her) she rolled that wheel chair through the city, across the river to the interstate, went up over the overpass and down 10 miles down a desolate road at 2am. never underestimate the elderly when they set their minds. even if half out of their minds.

In my little town in Mexico you have to be very careful with old people because they do wander off and they get lost somehow have gone found there like at a river or lost in top of the mountain cause they used to go a lot up there and some got lost for days and they have found some of them already just dead so yeah that sucks. You gotta be very careful.
