@cbsnews: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled new camera-free smart glasses at the company’s annual device event on Wednesday, amid backlash against AI devices that can take videos and pictures of people without their consent. The new camera-free smart glasses, which will ship from October 13 at a starting price of $349, are designed without cameras but still feature microphones that can capture audio, raising privacy concerns over whether people nearby will know when they are being recorded. #meta #zuckerberg #smartglasses #ai

I like that they listened to the camera backlash! Hands free with no camera could work really well in hotels and hospitality. The microphone part will raise the same questions though.
