Listen, my few minutes into first play was rough. My shelter was a half roofed, open faced mess with a fire next to the bed squished against the workbench. My first death wasn’t from a wandering monster but smoke inhalation. Yeah, I died smoking on toxic fumes from a rock pile in the dead of night in the peaceful meadows.

When I first played Valheim I was in a crypt with my brother swinging my weapon yelling "I'm killing it! I'm killing it!" My brother just calmly said, "Em, you're hitting a pillar..." (I have poor night vision). I also want to note that this was before the updates and it only had one difficulty. I love this game so much!
