@manganye_onndwela: I am Tsonga, but today we tried Thophi, a delicious dish from Vhavenda culture! 🥘❤️ I chose to try Thophi because food is one of the beautiful ways we get to experience and appreciate cultures different from our own. As a Tsonga person, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, learn something new and, of course, see if I could actually pull it off! 😂 And let me tell you… I learnt that cooking another culture’s food is an EXPERIENCE! From figuring out the preparation to dealing with a few unexpected cooking challenges, it definitely wasn’t as easy as I thought. 😭😂 But the food was worth it! The food was worth it, but look at this kitchen! 😭🫣 Greasy pans, dirty dishes, used utensils… the aftermath was giving WAR! 😂 Thankfully, Sunlight Ultra Power came through with its 5X grease-cutting power. 🧼✨ The foam got to work on the grease, making it easier to clean my cookware and get my kitchen back in order. So, I cooked outside my culture.
