I used to work at a library and part of the job was checking books for damage when they’re returned. Usually I would flip through the pages by slowly moving my finger down the side of the pages, but sometimes the sides of the pages were uneven, which made that impossible. I took me MONTHS to realize I could just put my finger on the bottom of the pages instead.
