My argument would be if this is the case are you self employed anymore? Next they will want to see your financial records telling you how much you can charge per lesson. What is this to stop?

The being on time for lessons is a good one. Practically everyone I know who’s ever taken driving lessons. including myself many years ago, the instructors are always late. It’s about time something was done about it.

I think this can only be a good thing. There's a huge power dynamic difference between learners and instructors so anything that can keep learners safer is a good thing in my opinion

I think this is brilliant. My first ever driving instructor was extremely inappropriate and then went completely AWOL, I wasn’t able to find another driving instructor in time for my test. This was some years ago but having these in place may have made him think twice

my driving instructor was constantly letting me down. I asked him for a refund for my unused hours. that was 4 weeks ago and im still waiting for my money back 😔 but luckily for me I have a car and was able to keep learning with family. I passed yesterday

Well my previous driving instructor isn’t going to be happy 😂 he’d regularly be 10 or more minutes late to a lesson and say he’d add it on the end, never did would drop me off early so I’d pay an hour and get 40 minutes. Never added it to the next lesson either. I should’ve switch instructors way before I did he regularly complained about other students too 🙃

Years ago I had an awful instructor who always charged me for 90s mins and bring me back after an hour and be on her phone the whole lessons , failed 5 times with her and changed to a much more professional instructor and passed first time with him . Definitely agree with this and driving lessons are taken a lot more serious.

My driving instructor was either early or late never on time. Sometimes up to 30 minutes early and sometimes up to 20 minutes late was really annoying trying to plan my day around it knowing I don’t know when he’d show up

They can be late because of traffic to be on time will mean need to cut short the lesson there on so not good
