This is why I don’t want to continue with the relationship with her when I found out she cheated on me. So instead of sleeping next to her with a feeling of resentment I just let her go. I have forgiven her but I still remember what she did to me, and each time i remember I get angry and it would continue to affect the relationship. She apologized but I couldn’t fight against my mind, the memories of the action, the betrayal. I let her go because I don’t want to keep the resentment with her. I wish I could forget everything she did but i can’t.

I’ve said that I forgive him but sometimes he’ll do something to trigger me and I go back and think about everything HE did wrong to me ,, I Go to GOD I pray about it , not only when I’m triggered but Every day ,, I’m tired of feeling like this ,, I won’t him outta my head ,,Completely

when you are cheated on, now you have two people in one. the one who triggers you when you remember and the one you love. one moment you want to be held close the other you get triggered. it's not easy.....you will get triggered and the challenge is that you still love a version of your partner that you knew before they introduced the side that cheated

I could never let it go, and if me holding a grudge stops blessings from blossoming then that would be disingenuous of God. The outcome of my life shouldn’t be determined on me letting things go by people who had no reason to do me wrong.
