I think for Molly it’s a mix of sadness that her house will be so quiet but also she went to Hogwarts and met the love of her life there so she is also excited for them to experience the magic she did

Get one what about all the kids that got turned into werewolves like Remus? Remus was the only werewolf that was accepted in Hogwarts and for him that felt like he could live normally but still have the forbidden forest to run around in all the shrieking shack to keep other people safe. Think about all the other kids who got turned into werewolves during the first war they never got accepted in Hogwarts and most of the kids that got turned into werewolves were muggle kids and wizarding kids and some 11 when they first got turned to think about that.

It makes no sense that it's always September 1st because that could be on a Saturday and for some reason they always have school the following day, so their school year according to JKR, could start on a Sunday, or worse what if Sep. 1 is on a Thursday, so u just have one day of school on Friday and then 2 days off, what’s the point 😭
