I THINK IT KINDA MAKES SENSE (in my perspective). The Third Descender doesn't wanna suffer after witnessing the love of his life's death and he also does not want Tsaritsa to die. So he went and bargained with the heavenly principles. Bring her back to life and he pays with his life and himself to be erased from Tsaritsa's memories. Because I think that's consideration right there. He knows Tsaritsa loved him. So if her memories weren't erased and she finds out that her lover sacrificed his life to save her, she would be devastated. And he doesn't want her to feel that. Selfless love final boss
