I really loved my table. The food was always a 10/10. Not until February 23rd 2026, When the chef got tired of cooking my favorite meal on the menu, the meal I usually ordered began to arrive late, and most times wasn’t available anymore. I still continued to seat at my favorite table hoping the chef would make my favorite meal. I even offered to help the chef and learn how to make my favorite meal, But the chef went quiet and later resigned from the restaurant with no notice at all just disappeared into the dark!

i’m the chef, and somehow, i still set aside a place for the ones who left knowing they would never go back just like before. i tell myself the restaurant must go on, that new faces will come, and that the kitchen will stay warm. but every now and then i cant help but wander to that table at the back the one i never quite learned how to leave empty.

I left the restaurant and I stopped following the chef. The chef has picked a different customer to serve. My table is being sat by my worst enemy. I’m not looking for a new restaurant right now, takeout has been my go to as of late. But I love cooking at home
