Getting measured once doesn’t mean those numbers will always remain the same. Your body changes. Your weight can change, your posture can change, and even small changes around your chest, waist, shoulders, or arms can affect how an outfit sits. There’s also something else to consider: different outfits require different considerations. The measurements and allowance needed for a fitted shirt may not be the same as what you’d need for a relaxed kaftan or a pair of trousers. That’s why I don’t like relying blindly on old measurements, especially when I’m making something important. I’d rather take a few minutes to confirm the measurements than spend hours correcting an outfit that could have been right from the beginning. literally spent 4 hours getting my nails FILED. They made THREE of my fingers BLEED. CALLING ME NAMES LIKE EITHER ‘BABY’ or the first guy kept calling me ‘HONEY.’ Making fun of me.
