@oceanlovinlisa: 33 years ago, my dad and two friends started the Ducktail Run Car Show. Through the years, it has grown into one of the biggest and best car shows in the Midwest—and possibly the nation! This year, Dad is bringing two cars: his 1931 Ford Phaeton roadster, which he rebuilt in just six months, and his 1931 Ford race car—in its current, unfinished condition. Dad always says, “Your car doesn’t have to be perfect to take it to a show. Take it and enjoy it. That’s part of the journey!” That’s where you meet other car guys who can offer advice, lend a hand, or connect you with someone who can help. That’s how car connections are made! ❤️🏁 The Ducktail Run is September 24–27, 2026, in Gas City, Indiana. Come check it out! The weather looks fantastic! ☀️ #ducktailrun #hotrods #carshow #customcars #classiccars

Lisa I am wondering how clean the engine runs on the old roadster. Can you take some dryer vent hose, or pool hose and put it on the end of the header so if in case it is a smokey little devil, it won't mess up your dad's beautiful work? Just a thought. Peace.

Garry :
