Your entire post here is a strawman , imagine a fireman who said “ you don’t need fire extinguishers to put out fires just throw ice cubes at it “ there is no evidence that ice cubes will put out a fire and if you do that rather than fetch a fire estinhsiher you will die. That firefighter should be banned from speaking as they can kill people. Barbara is doing the exact same thing WAKE UP TO IT.

This is a very bad take please reconsider. This is not a hill with dying on. Let’s address all points (1) alternative medicine is just advice that has no been proven to be better than placebo in clinical trials , you have a question does X do better than a placebo for a condition , you randomise people then given half X and half placebo and they don’t know what they have got , then you measure outcomes - this determines if medicines work the RCT! Alternative medicines all fail this hence why should government bodies spend so much for them and why should they be treated with same regard as actual medicine. This has very real work consequences , people have DIED from this … a case not so long ago of a child not being given chemo as mother believed in homeopathy and the kid DIED. This is why we have evidence based medicine to prove things work , prove any alternative medicine works in an RCT then it will be mainstream medicine your logic is backwards
