34 & 38; net is about 1mil. We own 2 rentals outright and owe about 115k on our mortgage. No other debt. I like to check it quarterly!

Once a year maybe. Net worth doesn't have much meaning for me. Investments and cash are important. I watch and adjust daily and track monthly. Equity doesn't pay bills.

Hopefully over time more of your net worth will be outside your home equity. Your home won't produce income to live on in retirement. Doing pretty well though.
