Mike Rogers it is. Thank you to everyone who took the time to have this discussion with me. Honestly, it made things a lot clearer and easier for me to understand. I came into this genuinely trying to understand why people would vote the way they do, not looking for a fight or trying to attack anyone. What surprised me was some of the responses I got — everything from judging me for asking the question to someone saying America deserved 9/11. Degrading me because they thought I was mocking someone’s name. It’s just how I see it. I wasn’t being racist or mocking religion. There were definitely some comments that went way beyond a political disagreement. Regardless of which side you’re on, I think we should be able to have a conversation, explain why we believe what we believe, and disagree without immediately attacking each other. I appreciate the people who actually explained their reasoning. That’s what I was looking for in the first place.
