I had finally built a life I loved… then life asked me to change direction again. I loved being a motorcoach driver. After everything I had been through, that job gave me confidence, independence, and a life that felt like mine again. I traveled. I met wonderful people. I went places I probably never would have seen otherwise. And most importantly, I had found something I truly enjoyed doing. 👉🏼 Follow me if you're navigating a new chapter of life too. 💛 But as my mom got older, she began needing more of my time. And suddenly I found myself facing another decision I hadn't really planned for. I couldn't keep working the long hours and be there for her the way I wanted to be. So I started cutting back. Eventually, I retired. It wasn't because I had stopped loving my job. It was because there are seasons in life when the people we love need us more. Looking back, I've learned that starting over doesn't only happen once. Sometimes life asks us to reinvent ourselves again and again. After my divorce, I had to figure out who I was on my own. Years later, caring for my mom changed my life again. And now, in my 60s, I'm still figuring out what this next chapter looks like. Maybe that's what life really is. Not having it all figured out—but being willing to keep turning the page. 💛
