This is what I have been burdened about. There was a time when the Church stood in such glory that different sectors and systems looked to her for wisdom, principles, creativity and direction. Today, sadly, the reverse is becoming the case. We are copying their sounds, lifestyles, philosophies and systems, and gradually losing the distinctiveness of the Church. The system of entertainment is becoming the system of the altar. We need to return to Jesus. Return to the Word. Return to the Holy Spirit. Return to holiness. The Church was never called to imitate the world. We were called to be light in the world. May we not lose the altar while trying to attract the crowd. Can we return? By what spirit are we building?
