Taylor typically portrays two sides of herself in videos and songs. While the Encore isn’t literally “Death of a Showgirl” I believe it’s still going to be a “dark” side of showgirl, or her true self behind the showgirl. Showgirl shows us the surface, Encore shows us underneath it.

heyyy!! I doubt you’ll see this but i really hope you do! I have a theory i wanna share but i don’t like posting myself so hopefully you could do it for me? It goes like this: The outfit Taylor’s wearing in the cover for the Patient Zero single is VERY similar, if not the exact same as the outfit Dakota wore back in 2024 on SNL when she mentioned Taylor by calling her “the most powerful person in america”. Now, if you look closely at the teaser for the MV for Patient Zero, you see Taylor and Dakota wearing the same outfits in MULTIPLE scenes. I think this is because these two individuals are one and the same, they’re connected somehow. My theory suggests that the two characters represent Debut and Reputation. HEAR ME OUT!!!! Dakota represents reputation as “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is often classed as a reputation era song despite not being on the album. What else isn’t on the rep album? Vault tracks. Now… how does this link to Dakota? Well… i don’t wanna live forever is a song featured on 50 shades, possibly Dakota’s most famous role!!! And for the character Taylor plays in this music video… it would simply be debut. Taylor Swift is playing Taylor Swift. Now, the reason these two characters are so reminiscent of eachother with the mirror scene and the outfits is because together they are ONE. Together… they are Debutation. Another link i found is the snippet in the teaser almost sounds similar to the intro to “our song” on the fearless tour! And… where do we see Taylor and Dakota standing in one of the clips? A grave yard. What would you find in said graveyard? Taylor Swifts reputation. Now this is where the guesses come in. I think in the music video, Taylor and Dakota will dig up taylor swifts reputation. The one Taylor buried in the LWYMMD Music video. The same taylor that wrote the reputation vault tracks. The same one that wrote the debut vault tracks. This is where we have 3 characters that all represent a different Taylor. Back to the snippet, there’s a bit in it that almost sounds like the intro to anti hero. Now what do we see in the anti hero music video? 3. Different. Taylors.
