@rickythesteadyinvestor: What if you invested EQUALLY in every S&P 500 stock… instead of the standard S&P 500? 📈 Same 500 companies. Completely different way of owning them. So I ran another experiment. I invested $10,000 into the standard S&P 500 and $10,000 into the Equal Weight S&P 500 — then took it back 30 YEARS. No additional contributions. No selling. Every dividend reinvested. Then I restarted the experiment across three separate 10-year periods to see if the result held up. And that’s where things got really interesting. Because the strategy that worked better over one period didn’t necessarily keep winning. So what matters more? Giving every company an equal piece of your money… or letting companies like Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft become bigger pieces of your portfolio as they grow? Watch until the end before you decide. Then tell me: EQUAL WEIGHT or STANDARD S&P 500 for the next 30 years? 👇 Historical backtest for educational purposes only. Past performance does not guarantee future results. #Investing #StockMarket #SP500 #InvestingForBeginners #PersonalFinance

Look at SPMO. Maybe run SPMO vs SPY vs RSY. But SPMO doesn't go as far back as 1996.

Each decade split had marco environments affecting the returns. Maybe touch on US wages, medium home prices and other factors. Our current tech/AI boom can't be good for the overall health of the US.

dude, I think you keep finding the same answer. in the past monopolies didn't exist as they have in the last 2 decades. that's why the results flipped. Amazon, Google, meta; they keep buying out the competition and consolidating the market
