My friends Mom has been sick for over 4 weeks. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Yesterday they discovered it is West Nile. Hits different when you directly know someone it has affected. This happened in Lakewood, CA. Stay safe people!

Remember folks, mosquitoes can breed in as little as a tablespoon of standing water. Make sure there is NO standing water around your home.

I got West nile in basic training. the only thing that saved my life was my age. I was 24 yrs old. The Army misdiagnosed me and gave me Percocet and sent me to lay down for 24 hrs.

I feel like this is another problem that’s coming about because of the warmer waters and the adjustment in our climate. I live in Orange County and this is terrifying. My heart is so broken for this family.

nothing stops the Asian Tiger mosquito. You can be covered up, you can spray yourself down and it won't stop them.

Anaheim, Fullerton and Santa Ana had a horrible mosquito problem. When I go there for home visits, they will attack you mid day!
