My German grandmother has a brother who moved to Australia. His accent is a combination of both accents at the same time and it’s the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard 😂 about 20 years ago I once heard them on the phone with each other and he said “straight away” and we all quote it even now to this day in the same way he did. It’s the best thing ever lmao
