I feel so alone, not only because I don’t have really any friends but also because I feel alone in my walk. Not in a way that exalts myself in any means, I know I’m not perfect and each day I work at being transformed by the power of Jesus. But I never meet anyone that has this same passion. Even other believers I talk to get annoyed at my excitement for Him. I know He’s with me and if all I have is Him then I have all I need. But i just wonder if it’ll ever be different. bc the thing is, even at the beginning of my walk i genuinely had such a close group of friends and they were absolute blessings. but overtime we just all went different directions, i’m so happy for them all but they all ended up choosing their relationships and stopped putting effort into our friendship. so i once knew what it was like to have that community, and now i’m so alone and it’s just hard.

No cause genuinely how do I explain that to someone. Like yes I talk so much about giving yourself to Christ and he’ll feel that void, but my void was never filled. Am I making sense?

It is the feeling of knowing God is with you in spirit but physically there is no one around. It makes it so difficult to feel lonely because there is that lingering guilt because you know God is with you but it’s still there.

This is the sacrifice we made for choosing Jesus & I like to look at it as peace rather than loneliness but sometimes I’ll admit there are times that feel extremely lonely

cause what do i even do? talk to God and bring my struggles to Him in prayer yes, but that doesn’t make me PHYSICALLY less lonely, and it SUCKS because i struggle sometimes trusting God has a plan and is working everything out for my good, so i just sit here not understanding, losing all my friends and relationships, driving alone, going to church alone, and obviously it’s a great opportunity to grow closer to God but it still hurts, a lot. i’ve been feeling this way for the last few months and im just kinda stuck, idk what to do
