The direct employment stat is not comparable and skewed. Ask anyone that has worked in a data centre before, direct employees make up about 5% of the jobs associated with that data centre

the 50k homes comparison is insane. i hate what the government is doing to us. turning us into a capatilist hellscape, and leaving the majority to fucking struggle and barely get by. I'm 26 and i don't have a single friend who isn't one month away from not being able to make rent.

And who is going to be held to account, not only for the misdirection of information but for all the money it's costing irish households in electricity costs but taxpayers who's ultimately footing the bill. The fact the government already knew what the report would find suggests corruption, same with the children's hospital it should be put on hold and a full audit done
